Lifeboat, LLC, based in Wyoming, was founded in August 2021 to support and advance open source HDF5 data management software. With extensive experience in HDF5 development, the company is focused on adding innovative features and growing its developer team to ensure long-term sustainability. Lifeboat has received four Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) awards from the U.S. Department of Energy and is collaborating on further projects with the DOE.
