Headquartered in Wyoming, Lifeboat, LLC was founded to sustain and enhance open-source HDF5 data management software. With decades of experience as HDF5 developers and architects, we are dedicated to creating innovative features that serve the needs of the HDF5 user community. Since our founding in August 2021, we’ve received four Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) awards from the Department of Energy and are collaborating on additional projects to further our mission. As we expand our development team, we continue to work on several internal projects to ensure the software’s lasting impact.
